AQUILA SKY
Her award-winning artistry has seen her sing her way to people’s ears and hearts at various venues, showcases, and platforms across the world.
From the moment Aquila could speak, her parents knew she had a gift for singing.
At the young age of 7, with a little encouragement from family and friends, Aquila hit the stage for the first time and never looked back. Brooklyn born, Aquila would continue serenading audiences near and far, with leading roles in musical theater performances, granting her first-class invitations to perform for the upper echelon. Audiences craved her powerful, yet sultry voice-always demanding an encore.
Listeners compare Aquila to the greats such as Lauren Hill, Beyoncé, Nina Simone, and Alicia Keys. Aquila would go on to compete in several singing competitions-always taking home the prize.
In the 6th grade, Aquila auditioned and was accepted into the world renowned Professional Performing arts school, and was also hand-selected to play Nala on Disney’s lion King Live on Broadway.
Shortly after, Aquila developed an affinity for poetry, songwriting and recording music. Her popularity quickly grew amongst her peers and other musicians alike due to her magnetic beauty and personality as well as her astonishing talent. By the time Aquila got to high school, she became the go-to artist for collaborations and often found herself writing for and teaching other artists.
After graduating High School, Aquila would pursue an education in Voice Pedagogy becoming a Celebrity Vocal Coach. The songstress’ affinity for teaching voice has had a major positive impact on her many students. In the near future, Aquila plans to spread her gifts across many platforms such as Broadway stages, acting on the big screen, releasing an original project and touring the world.
